Leica M3 Double Stroke, Chrome (1954)
Introduced in 1954, the Leica M3 was the new starting point for Leitz as it introduced several new features including the combination of viewfinder and rangefinder in one bright window, as well as a bayonet lens mount and rapid film advance lever. It was the first and most successful model of the M series, with over 220,000 units sold over 12 years. Production of the Leica M3 ended in 1966.

- Product is in very good, original condition and is still in working order, with all the early features, without frame selector, Leica black wax seal on the bayonet and early strap lugs.
- Some scratches on the top plate caused by the use of a Leica meter.
- Rangefinder with quite low contrast but still in a usable condition.
- Includes body cap.
