A hobbyist photographer that is constantly learning throughout the years, Animaras lean more towards street photography, human interactions, and satisfying lines in architecture.

Callie Eh

Callie is a Switzerland-based Malaysian. Her travels ignited her love for photography, and what started as a hobby has now become an integral part of her life. Callie discovered photography was a means of truly expressing herself and finding order in her inner chaos. Her photography has grown over the years, she hopes to communicate the beauty she sees in the world and give it as a gift to others via her unique perspective and optimistic outlook on life are evident in her photography. Her work mainly focuses on capturing life "in the moment." She captures people's honesty and authenticity through her lens, showcasing their individuality, heritage, and life experiences. For Callie, photography is not just about creating memories but is a powerful tool for communication.

Jasmine Loh

Jasmine finds joy in creating purposeful imagery, favoring the use of natural light and basic photographic tools to capture unadorned moments. Her approach revolves around simplicity, allowing the inherent beauty of the subject to shine through without excessive manipulation.

Jessica Cho

A self-taught photographer, began her journey capturingportraits and landscapes during her travels, fueled by a passion for storytellingthrough imagery. Transitioning to professional freelance foodphotography,she refined her craft, delighting in the art of culinary capture. Upon becominga Leica user opened new avenues, leading her to explore the vibrant world ofstreet photography, uncovering the beauty in the everyday. Each step of herjourney has been driven by a passion for storytelling through the lens,capturing moments that evoke emotion and intrigue

Joyce Lai

As an avid traveler and passionate photographer, Joyce seamlessly blend exploration with creativity. Through her lens, she aim to transport viewers to the places she has visited, sharing the beauty and diversity of our world. While not a professional travel photographer, her dedication drives continued growth. From remote landscape to vibrant cities, her Leica is always ready to seize the moment. Photography is more than a hobby; it's a way of life - a gateway to endless adventure and unforgettable experiences and memories.

Datin Mable

I'm Mable, a graphic designer with over 30 years of experience, starting my career in 1991 after graduating from Equator Academy of Art in Penang. I spent two years as a resident artist at a hotel before joining a small printing company, where I eventually took over in 1998. This business later became a successful gifts, hampers, and flower venture. Photography has always been my hobby and passion. I started with Canon cameras, then transitioned through the Sony A7RII, A7RIV, and Leica Q2. Now, I'm exploring new horizons with my dream camera, the Leica Q3. I enjoy cafe hopping, traveling, and capturing my life's adventures with my camera.

Maizurah

Maizurah Ariff is a travel enthusiast and a self taught photographer. She is a Kuala Lumpur based photographer and two of her greatest passions are travel and photography. It is simply amazing to be able to observe and photograph the diversity of cultures and landscapes . Photography is her means of expression and she spends her time capturing moments on the go, with her trusted cameras 'whom she named "Morris" and 'Modok" ! She believes that by capturing images and assessing them , you are able to correct the mistakes that will improve your pictures and become a better photographer.

Puan Sri Siew

Puan Sri Toh Ee Siew, a hobbyist photographer for 8 years. Capturing the connection with people has become her greatest inspiration. It allows her to create beautiful images to share with the world. She has shot a variety of genres over the years when travelling the globe. Toh Ee is honoured and thankful to have won several accolade: Portrait of Humanity 2020 by British Journal of Photography X Magnum Photos. Finalist in the Siena International Photo Awards 2020. Women Photographers Malaysia X Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2020, 2021, 2023. Women Street Photographers (New York City) Annual Exhibition 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024 currently exhibiting at WSP Annual Festival X The Leica Women Foto Project in NYC.

Theresa Thien

An economist by qualification, a teacher by profession, a photographer by passion Theresa photographic journey began amidst the 2020 lockdown, inspired by her husband avid interest. Theresa unearthed her knack for capturing the moment when she acquired her first gear—Ricoh GR3X in 2021 and Leica Q3 in 2023—and honed her skills under mentors like Adam Tan. Theresa dedication bore fruit with accolades such as being a top 8 finalist in the 2023 Sony Alpha Contest YLPF and securing third place in the 2024 FJM Ladies Photo Walk contest. Through her lens, Theresa invites viewers into her world of vibrant storytelling and emotive imagery.

Puan Sri Wendy

Clicking pictures of my family and friends has always been my passion. I started off using a modest film camera, then gradually progressed to compact digital cameras and of course, the ubiquitous handphone, capturing special memories at home as well as on my overseas travels. It was a good decision I made 5 years ago and seriously there was no turning back. I immersed myself in the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography. The deeper I delved into it the more I discovered that photography is not just a skill to acquire but is an art of capturing in-situ subjects. This marked my maiden journey into the world of photography. I truly enjoyed the different genres of photography, from street photography to nature photography, street environmental portraiture to studio portraiture, still life and landscape photography and so on. My passion for photography has enriched my life and made me more appreciative of the beauty of things around me. The beautiful memorable experiences are perfect in preserving my important milestones and also allow me to connect with people in a fun way.
