Join us in "Capturing Life, Essence and Expression: Photojournalism Approach" with Sadiq Asyraf and dive into the art of photographing individuals, emphasizing the nuances of portraying a person's character, emotions, and unique identity.
As a photographer to the Prime Minister, Sadiq Asyraf will showcase his experience and work from working with powerful political figures in the past 1 year.
Topics to be covered include:
- Introduction to Photojournalism
- Themes/Topics vs Stories
- What is Photo Essay?
- Tips on Creating Photo Essay
- Post-processing Walkthrough (curation, cropping, editing)
- Photo Essay Assignment and Review Session
The workshop will kick-off with an in-depth theory class on the first Sunday followed by a photo essay review session on the second Sunday.
Who should attend:
This workshop is open to individuals of all photography levels.
Workshop schedule:
2pm - 6pm, 21 April 2024 (Sunday)
2pm - 6pm, 28 April 2024 (Sunday)
- Participants are encouraged to submit 10 or more images before the commencement of the workshop.
- All cameras are welcome and there will be a limited selection of Leica cameras and lenses available for attendees to use.
- Refreshments will be provided.
- Minimum 4 pax to commence class. In the event the class is cancelled, you will be refunded accordingly.
- No cancellation or refund upon sign-up.
