20 SEP | Layers of Storytelling: Mastering Depth in Street Photography
Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Meeting Point: L eica Store Kuala Lumpur, Avenue K
Photography is more than capturing what’s in front of you — it’s about building a story within a single frame. Layering is one of the most powerful tools for adding depth, energy, and narrative to your photos. In this workshop, Jonathan Jaspberg will guide participants through the art of using background, midground, and foreground to create images that feel alive and complex.
The session combines both theory and practice. Jonathan will share how he sets up his camera, the mistakes to avoid, and his personal tips for finding and composing layered scenes. Participants will then head out for a practical shooting session to put these techniques into action. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer, this workshop will help you elevate your visual storytelling.
