About the Instructor

Huxster is a Malaysia-based mobile photographer and Creative Director whose work is defined by clarity, restraint, and intention. A father of two, he approaches photography with a quiet discipline, drawn to clean lines, balanced compositions, and the subtle dialogue between light and space.

Since 2014, he has used Instagram as his canvas, shaping a visual language that moves between reality and imagination. His images are minimal yet expressive, where colour, form, and negative space come together with purpose. While his work began with a focus on minimalism and colour, his practice continues to evolve. In recent years, he has explored new genres, particularly street and travel photography, creating images rooted in strong composition and a deeper sense of storytelling. In his world, the ordinary is not overlooked, it is refined, distilled, and re-seen.

Huxster’s practice is guided by a simple philosophy: to create images that feel effortless, yet considered. Each frame is an exercise in reduction removing distractions to reveal what truly matters. He has collaborated with global brands including Leica, Apple, Adobe Lightroom, Pantone, Insta360, and Fujifilm, and was a speaker at Adobe MAX Creative Conference 2021. He also works closely with Adobe Lightroom as a workshop instructor partner, conducting photography workshops across Malaysia. His work extends beyond images into education, where he shares his approach to seeing, not just shooting. For Huxster, photography is not about capturing more but about seeing more, with less.
